Collaborative Divorce Professionals of Arizona, Inc, (CDPAz) is an Arizona non-profit corporation. CDPAz is comprised of family law attorneys, mental health professionals and financial professionals who represent clients in collaborative divorce, an out-of-court alternative dispute resolution process.
A Collaborative Divorce includes resolution of custody and parenting time, division of community, joint and separate property and/or debt, spousal maintenance, child support and other issues that are of concern to couples and families going through legal separation or divorce. Issues related to separation of unmarried partners, paternity and related child custody and parenting issues, and other matters affecting families in transition are also suitable for resolution using the collaborative divorce model for conflict resolution.
All CDPAz members have completed training in the full-team interdisciplinary Collaborative Divorce model and must meet additional educational, credential and experience requirements for membership.
