CATEGORIES OF MEMBERSHIP
Advanced Practitioner Member
- Member must have satisfactorily completed a Full Team Interdisciplinary Protocols Training or an Interdisciplinary Collaborative Divorce Team Training and additional 1 day Protocols Training.
- Member must have satisfactorily completed a 40 hour mediation training.
- Member must have been in practice in his or her profession for 5 years or more with significant family law experience, including divorce, children of divorce and/or divorce financial planning.
- Member must be licensed in Arizona by the recognized licensing authority in his or her profession and be a member in good standing of that profession.
- Member must have malpractice insurance.
- Member must have joined International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (“IACP”) and paid all dues required by IACP and by CDPAZ.
- Member must have completed 6 hours of collaborative divorce continuing education annually.
- Member will be listed on CDPAZ website and is entitled to vote.
Practitioner Member
- Member must have satisfactorily completed an Interdisciplinary Collaborative Divorce Team Training.
- Member must be licensed in Arizona by the recognized licensing authority in his or her profession and be a member in good standing of that profession.
- Member must have malpractice insurance.
- Member must have joined International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (“IACP”) and paid all dues required by IACP and by CDPAZ.
- Member must have completed 6 hours of collaborative divorce continuing education annually.
- Member will be listed on CDPAZ website and is entitled to vote.
Adjunct Professional
Member will have completed a three day interdisciplinary team training and paid the membership initiation fee and annual dues, but he or she is not an attorney, mental health professional or financial specialist. Examples of Adjunct Professional members are business valuators, appraisers, etc. This member will not be listed on the CDPAZ website and will not be entitled to vote.
Associate Non-Practitioner/Supporting Member
Member will not qualify for Practitioner membership in CDPAZ because he or she does not meet one or more of the requirements as an Advanced Practitioner or Practitioner Membership listed above. This member will not be listed on the CDPAZ website or have voting privileges but is welcome at all meetings.
Student Member
Member is a part time or full time student who does not meet the requirements in as an Advanced Practitioner or Practitioner Membership listed above. This member will not be listed on the CDPAZ website and will not be entitled to vote.
